You learn about waves, currents, board handling and your first clean pop-up movement in the whitewater.
You start to feel when the wave picks you up, how to stay stable and how to catch more waves with clean starts.
When the conditions are right, you move beyond the whitewater: paddle in, glide, stand up and feel the open wave.
Looking where you want to go, shifting your weight and making your first turns take you from “I am standing” to “I am riding the wave”.
Your coach corrects timing, posture and position. Small details suddenly create big progress.
